GENA_Global Music Band
글로벌 뮤직 밴드 제나(GENA)는 '오로지 나 자신'을 뜻하는 순우리말 '제나'와 라틴어 'GENA:볼' 의의미를 결합하여 한국의 관점으로 세계의 음악을 바라보겠다는 뜻을 가진 밴드입니다.
2015년 결성된 GENA는 한국의 전통악기와 세계의 악기를 통해 탱고, 재즈, 팝의 특색을 결합한 음악을 연구하고 연주해 왔습니다. 지구 반대편 음악인 아르헨티나 탱고와 세계의 음악을 한국의 장단과 가락에 융합하여 매력적인 음악의 장르를 탄생시켰습니다.

Since 2015, GENA has intricately woven the tones of numerous Korean traditional instruments into the fabric of Argentine tango, a genre originating from the opposite side of the globe. By fusing Korean rhythms and melodies with the musical elements of tango, they have birthed a captivating and novel music genre.
This unique blend is designed to be simultaneously familiar and unfamiliar, presenting a fresh and official take on the convergence of diverse musical traditions.
